Das fleissige Handwerkerteam von Emanuel Amadeus hat erneut einen grossen Einsatz geleistet. Die Mitte Januar im Simanjiro-Distrikt begonnene Regenzeit hat auch im Februar immer wieder intensive Niederschläge gebracht, welche zeitweise ganze Steppenlandstriche buchstäblich unter Wasser setzten. Dank dieser Wasserverfügbarkeit konnten die Bauarbeiten am vierten Schulgebäude in Mbuko zügig fortgeführt werden. Das Konstruktionsholz und alle Wellblechteile konnten glücklicherweise noch vor dem Einsetzen der grossen Regenfluten, unter mehrheitlich idealen, d.h. trockenen Strassenverhältnissen zur Baustelle in Mbuko transportiert werden. Somit konnten die Dachdeckerarbeiten am Schulgebäude bereits vor nicht langer Zeit abgeschlossen werden. Über diesen raschen Projektfortschritt sind alle sehr dankbar. Diese Dankbarkeit seitens Bevölkerung konnte kürzlich ein Besucherteam von ENKAINA-E-RETOTO (Silvia u. Beni A. sowie Erich G. und Markus H.) erfahren, als sie zusammen mit Lengai S. (Projektkoordinator) die Baustelle an der Primarschule in Mbuko besuchten. Das Besucherteam wurde von den Lehrpersonen und einer freudigen Schülerschar mit einer speziellen Parade und seitens Bevölkerung mit einer Gruppe tanzender Jungkrieger (Moranis) bei traditionellem Massai-Gesang begrüsst. Das Handwerkerteam zeigte ihnen die Fortschritte auf der Baustelle. Zwischenzeitlich konnten am neuen Schulgebäude sogar schon fast alle Metallfenster und Türen eingebaut werden. Die ersten Innen-Ausbauarbeiten (Verputzarbeiten) konnten ebenfalls bereits gestartet werden. Sofern die Naturstrassen aus der Stadt Arusha ins Massailand wieder einigermassen trocken und passierbar werden, soll demnächst weiteres Baumaterial (Zementsäcke, Farben usw.) zur Baustelle gebracht werden, um die Verputz- und Malerarbeiten an diesem Schulgebäude zeitnah abzuschliessen. Zudem sollen an diesem neuen Schulgebäude bald Dachrinnen montiert, sowie zwei Wassertanks à 5.000 Liter zum Sammeln von Regenwasser installiert werden. Emanuel Amadeus‘ diligent team of craftsmen has once again done a great job. The rainy season, which began in mid-January in the Simanjiro District, has brought intense precipitation in February, which at times literally flooded entire steppes. Thanks to this water availability, the construction work on the fourth school building in Mbuko could be continued quickly. Luckily, the structural wood and all the corrugated iron parts could be transported to the construction site in Mbuko before the heavy rains set in, under largely ideal, i.e. dry, road conditions. The roofing work on the school building was therefore completed not long ago. Everyone is very grateful for this rapid progress of the project. A visitor team from ENKAINA-E-RETOTO (Silvia and Beni A. as well as Erich G. and Markus H.) recently experienced this gratitude on the part of the population when they visited the construction site at the primary school in Mbuko together with Lengai S. (project coordinator). The team of visitors was welcomed by the teachers and a joyful crowd of students with a special parade and by the population with a group of dancing young warriors (moranis) with traditional Maasai singing. The team of craftsmen showed them the progress on the construction site. In the meantime, almost all metal windows and doors have been installed in the new school building. The first interior finishing work (plastering) has also already started. As soon as the natural roads from the city of Arusha to Maasai land are reasonably dry and passable again, more building material (bags of cement, paint, etc.) will be brought to the construction site in order to finish the plastering and painting work on this school building in a timely manner. In addition, gutters are to be fitted to this new school building soon, as well as two water tanks, each with a capacity of 5,000 liters, to collect rainwater. Kazi ya kuezeka paa imekamilika Mbuko
Timu ya mafundi makini ya Emanuel Amadeus kwa mara nyingine tena imefanya kazi nzuri. Msimu wa mvua, ulioanza katikati ya Januari katika Wilaya ya Simanjiro, mvua kubwa mwezi Februari, ambayo wakati fulani ilifurika nyika nzima. Shukrani kwa upatikanaji huu wa maji, kazi ya ujenzi wa jengo la shule ya nne huko Mbuko inaweza kuendelea haraka. Kwa bahati nzuri, mbao za miundo na sehemu zote za mabati zingeweza kusafirishwa hadi kwenye eneo la ujenzi huko Mbuko kabla ya mvua kubwa kuanza, chini ya hali nzuri, yaani wakati barabara bado iko katika hali nzuri. Kwa hiyo kazi ya kuezeka kwa jengo la shule ilikamilika muda si mrefu uliopita. Kila mtu anashukuru sana kwa maendeleo haya ya haraka ya mradi. Timu ya wageni kutoka ENKAINA-E-RETOTO (Silvia na Beni A. pamoja na Erich G. na Markus H.) hivi karibuni walipata shukrani hii kwa upande wa wakazi walipotembelea eneo la ujenzi katika shule ya msingi ya Mbuko pamoja na Lengai S. (mratibu wa mradi). Timu ya wageni ilikaribishwa na walimu na umati wa wanafunzi wenye furaha kwa gwaride maalum na idadi ya watu pamoja na kikundi cha vijana wapiganaji (moranis) wanaocheza ngoma za asili za Kimasai. Timu ya mafundi iliwaonyesha maendeleo kwenye eneo la ujenzi. Wakati huo huo, karibu madirisha na milango yote ya chuma imewekwa katika jengo jipya la shule. Kazi ya kwanza ya kumaliza mambo ya ndani (plastering) pia tayari imeanza. Mara tu barabara za asili kutoka jiji la Arusha hadi ardhi ya Wamasai zitakapokauka na kupitika tena, vifaa vingine vya ujenzi (mifuko ya saruji, rangi n.k.) vitaletwa kwenye eneo la ujenzi ili kumalizia kazi ya kupaka lipu na kupaka rangi. Kwenye jengo hili la shule kwa wakati ufaao. Aidha, mifereji ya maji itawekwa kwenye jengo hili jipya la shule hivi karibuni, pamoja na matanki mawili ya maji, kila moja likiwa na ujazo wa lita 5,000, ili kukusanya maji ya mvua.
