School buildings in Mbuko and Loolosesia opened by the district government

Anfang letzter Woche wurde Suleiman Serera, der oberste Simanjiro-Distriktbeamte, zusammen mit anderen Vertretern der Schulbehörden mit einem gebührenden Fest von Schulkindern, Lehrpersonen und der Massaibevölkerung in Mbuko empfangen. Das kürzlich fertiggestellte, vierte Schulgebäude mit zwei Klassenzimmern und einem Vorbereitungsraum für die Lehrer konnte nun in einer feierlichen Zeremonie im Beisein von Vertretern der Dorfregierung und der Distriktregierung offiziell eröffnet werden. Rechtzeitig zur Eröffnungsfeier konnten auch die beiden neuen Klassenzimmer mit ersten neuen Schulbänken ausgestattet werden. Zudem konnten die an den alten sowie am neuen Schulgebäude installierten Wassertanks zur Regenwassersammlung und zur Betreibung der Schulküche von den anwesenden Schulbehörden inspiziert und für den Schulbetrieb in Mbuko als äusserst hilfreich beurteilt werden. Das seitens der Distriktregierung ausgesprochene grosse Dankeschön an den Verein ENKAINA-E-RETOTO für das kontinuierliche Engagement auf dem Gemeindegebiet auf Loiborsoit geben wir an dieser Stelle gerne an unsere Projektsponsoren und Vereinsmitglieder weiter.
Sobald die sehnlichst erwartete Regenzeit einsetzt und somit Wasser in den neu installierten Tanks gesammelt werden kann, können auch die innerhalb neuer Schulbauprojekte (2022/23) geplanten Renovierungsarbeiten an den alten Schulgebäuden starten. Im Anschluss an die Eröffnungsfeier in Mbuko konnten die Vertreter der Distriktregierung die bereits Ende 2021 fertiggestellten Lehrerunterkünfte an der neuen Schule in Loolosesia im nordöstlichen Teil des Gemeindegebietes von Loiborsoit inspizieren. Auch in Loolosesia wurde seitens der Massaibevölkerung und den Schulkindern eine kleine Eröffnungsfeier zum Empfang der Regierungsvertreter organisiert. Zusammen mit den Massai aus Loiborsoit sind wir sehr dankbar, dass trotz schwieriger gewordenen Umständen in den letzten 12 Monaten einige sehr hilfreiche Schulbauprojekte realisiert werden konnten….
School buildings in Mbuko and Loolosesia opened by the district government
At the beginning of last week, Suleiman Serera, the top Simanjiro district official, along with other representatives of the school authorities, was welcomed with a party by school children, teachers and the Maasai population in Mbuko. The recently completed, fourth school building with two classrooms and a preparation room for the teachers could now officially be opened with a ceremony in the presence of representatives of the village government and the district government. Just in time for the opening ceremony, the two new classrooms could be equipped with the first new school desks. In addition, the water tanks at the old and new school buildings for running the school kitchen were inspected by the school authorities. We are happy to forward a big thank you from the district government to our project sponsors and association members.
As soon as the eagerly awaited rainy season begins, water can be collected in the newly installed tanks. Only then we will be able to start the renovation work on the old school buildings. After the opening ceremony in Mbuko, the representatives of the district government were able to inspect the teacher accommodation at the new school in Loolosesia. The buildings were completed at the end of 2021. In Loolosesia the Maasai population and the school children organized a small opening ceremony to welcome the government representatives. Together with the Maasai from Loiborsoit, we are very grateful that, despite the more difficult circumstances, some very helpful school construction projects could be realized in the last 12 months…
Majengo ya shule ya Mbuko na Loolosesia yaliyofunguliwa na serikali ya wilaya
Mwanzoni mwa wiki iliyopita, Suleiman Serera, mkuu wa wilaya ya Simanjiro, pamoja na wawakilishi wengine wa uongozi wa shule, walikaribishwa kwa tafrija na watoto wa shule, walimu na jamii ya Wamasai huko Mbuko. Jengo la shule ya nne lililokamilika hivi karibuni lenye vyumba viwili vya madarasa na chumba cha maandalizi kwa ajili ya walimu hao sasa linaweza kufunguliwa rasmi kwa sherehe mbele ya wawakilishi wa serikali ya kijiji na serikali ya wilaya. Kwa wakati ufaao wa sherehe ya ufunguzi, madarasa mawili mapya yangeweza kuwekewa madawati mapya ya kwanza ya shule. Aidha, matanki ya maji katika majengo ya shule ya zamani na mapya kwa ajili ya kuendeshea jiko la shule yalikaguliwa na uongozi wa shule. Tunayo furaha kuwasilisha shukrani kubwa kutoka kwa serikali ya wilaya kwa wafadhili wa mradi wetu na wanachama wetu.
Mara tu msimu wa mvua unaosubiriwa kwa hamu unapoanza, maji yanaweza kukusanywa katika matangi mapya yaliyowekwa. Ni hapo tu tutaweza kuanza kazi ya ukarabati kwenye majengo ya shule ya zamani. Baada ya hafla ya ufunguzi huko Mbuko, wawakilishi wa serikali ya wilaya waliweza kukagua malazi ya walimu katika shule mpya ya Loolosesia. Majengo hayo yalikamilishwa mwishoni mwa 2021. Huko Loolosesia idadi ya Wamasai na watoto wa shule walipanga hafla ndogo ya ufunguzi ili kuwakaribisha wawakilishi wa serikali. Pamoja na Wamasai kutoka Loiborsoit, tunashukuru sana kwamba, licha ya hali ngumu zaidi, baadhi ya miradi yenye manufaa ya ujenzi wa shule inaweza kutekelezwa katika kipindi cha miezi 12 iliyopita…
