Renovited school buildings in Mbuko shine in new splendor

Bereits in der ersten Februarwoche konnten fast alle Rennovierungsarbeiten an den alten Schulgebäuden in Mbuko durch das Handwerkerteam von Emauel Amedeus abgeschlossen werden. Nach Abschluss letzter Malerarbeiten stehen die frisch renovierten Klassenzimmer nun wieder dem täglichen Schulunterricht zur Verfügung. Nur mit dem geplanten Einsetzen von Glasscheiben an den neuen Fenstern möchte man vorerst bis zu den nächsten Schulferien abwarten, damit der noch leicht wahrnehmbare, üble Geruch aus dem Fledermausbefall im Bereich der Dachkonstruktion in den betroffenen Klassenzimmern über die offenen Fenster besser auslüften kann. Auch ein sechster Wassertank à 5.000 Liter (zum Sammeln von Regenwasser) soll demnächst wie geplant an dem zuletzt renovierten Gebäude installiert werden. Zudem sollen weitere Dachrinnen am Dach der Toilettenanlagen installiert werden.
Anfang letzter Woche konnte ein Besucherteam unseres Vereins (mit Kalanga, Markus, Roger, Jesus, Daniel und Kurt) die frisch renovierten Schulgebäude vor Ort in Mbuko inspizieren. Die Besucher wurden von Lehrpersonen und den Schülern in Mbuko herzlich empfangen und konnten von ihnen allen eine grosse Dankbarkeit über die frisch renovierten Klassenzimmer erfahren. Die Rennovierungsarbeiten sind auch aus Sicht der Projektbesucher zur ihrer vollsten Zufriedenheit umgesetzt worden. Dank der Renovierung erstrahlt nun die gesamte Primarschule Mbuko in neuem Glanz und voller Stolz wurde dem Besucherteam auch der Rohbau einer neuen Lehrerunterkunft gezeigt, welche mit Unterstützung durch die Distrikt-Regierung sowie finanzieller Beteiligung durch die Massaibevölkerung hoffentlich schon bald fertiggestellt werden kann. Für die frisch renovierten Klassenzimmer wünschen sich die Lehrpersonen seitens unsers Vereins einige neue Schulbänke sowie wenige Sitzbänke für die Schulküche. Diese Schulmöbel sollten mit letzten finanziellen Mitteln aus den geplanten gemeinnützigen Projekten 2022/23 (1. Teil) beschafft werden und dann voraussichtlich noch vor Ende Mai 2023 zur Verfügung gestellt werden können. An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns im Namen der Massaibevölkerung aus Mbuko nochmals ganz herzlich bei allen unseren Projekteunterstützenden sowie bei unserem Hauptsponsor für Schulbauprojekte wie auch bei allen Vereinsmitgliedern bedanken. Renovited school buildings in Mbuko shine in new splendor
Almost all of the renovation work on the old school buildings in Mbuko was completed by Emauel Amedeus‘ team in the first week of February. After the final painting work was completed, the freshly renovated classrooms are now available again for school lessons. With the planned installation of glass panes on the new windows, one would like to wait until the next school holidays for the time being. This is because that like this the bad smell from the bat infested roof construction in the affected classrooms can be better ventilated outside via the open windows. A sixth water tank with a capacity of 5,000 liters (to collect rainwater) is also to be installed in the recently renovated building. In addition, more gutters are to be installed on the roof of the toilet facilities.
At the beginning of last week, a team of visitors from our association (with Kalanga, Markus, Roger, Jesus, Daniel and Kurt) was able to inspect the newly renovated school buildings. The visitors were warmly welcomed by the teachers and the students and they expressed their gratitude for the newly renovated classrooms. The renovation work has been carried out to the complete satisfaction of the project visitors. Thanks to the renovation, the entire primary school in Mbuko now shines in new splendor. The visitors were proud to see the construction of a new teacher’s accommodation, which will be completed hopefully soon. This building is being realized with the support of the district government and a financial contribution of the Maasai population. For the newly renovated classrooms, the teachers wish from our association to get some new school benches and a few benches for the school kitchen. This school furniture should be procured with the last financial resources from the planned charitable projects 2022/23 (1st part) and can then probably be made available before the end of May 2023. At this point we would like to thank all our project supporters and our main sponsor for school construction projects as well as all club members on behalf of the Maasai population of Mbuko. Majengo ya shule yaliyokarabatiwa huko Mbuko yang’aa kwa uzuri mpya
Takriban kazi yote ya ukarabati wa majengo ya shule kuu ya Mbuko ilikamilishwa na timu ya Emauel Amedeus katika wiki ya kwanza ya Februari. Baada ya kazi ya mwisho ya uchoraji kukamilika, madarasa mapya yaliyofanyiwa ukarabati sasa yanapatikana tena kwa masomo ya shule. Kwa ufungaji uliopangwa wa vioo vya kioo kwenye madirisha mapya, mtu angependa kusubiri hadi likizo ya shule ijayo kwa wakati huo. Hii ni kwa sababu kwamba harufu mbaya kutoka kwa ujenzi wa paa iliyovamiwa na popo katika madarasa yaliyoathiriwa inaweza kupitisha hewa ya kutosha nje kupitia madirisha wazi. Tangi la sita la maji lenye ujazo wa lita 5,000 (kukusanya maji ya mvua) pia litawekwa katika jengo lililofanyiwa ukarabati hivi karibuni. Kwa kuongeza, mifereji ya maji zaidi itawekwa kwenye paa la vifaa vya vyoo.
Mwanzoni mwa juma lililopita, timu ya wageni kutoka chama chetu (pamoja na Kalanga, Markus, Roger, Jesus, Daniel na Kurt) waliweza kukagua majengo mapya ya shule yaliyofanyiwa ukarabati. Wageni hao walikaribishwa kwa furaha na walimu na wanafunzi na wakatoa shukrani zao kwa madarasa mapya yaliyofanyiwa ukarabati. Kazi ya ukarabati imefanywa kwa kuridhika kamili kwa wageni wa mradi. Shukrani kwa ukarabati huo, shule nzima ya msingi ya Mbuko sasa inang’aa kwa uzuri mpya. Wageni hao walijivunia kuona ujenzi wa makazi mapya ya walimu, ambao unatarajiwa kukamilika hivi karibuni. Jengo hili linatekelezwa kwa msaada wa serikali ya wilaya na mchango wa kifedha wa Wamasai. Kwa madarasa mapya yaliyokarabatiwa, walimu wanataka kutoka kwa chama chetu kupata madawati mapya ya shule na madawati machache kwa ajili ya jiko la shule. Samani hizi za shule zinapaswa kununuliwa kwa rasilimali ya mwisho ya kifedha kutoka kwa miradi ya hisani iliyopangwa 2022/23 (sehemu ya 1) na kisha pengine inaweza kupatikana kabla ya mwisho wa Mei 2023. Kwa hatua hii tungependa kuwashukuru wafadhili wetu wote wa mradi na mfadhili wetu mkuu wa miradi ya ujenzi wa shule pamoja na wanachama wote wa klabu kwa niaba ya Wamasai wa Mbuko.
