Support for VETA Craft School

Anfang dieser Woche haben Lengai S. und Nengajiang (Jenipher R. Mollel) mit Markus H. und Kurt B. von ENKAINA-E-RETOTO die VETA-Handwerksschule besucht. Diese Schule liegt im südlichen Gemeindegebiet von Loiborsoit, ungefähr in der Mitte zwischen den Dorfzentren von Loiborsoit und Emboret. An dieser vom tansanischen Staat unterstützten Schule werden Ausbildungskurse für Maurer und Schreiner sowie Metallbearbeiter angeboten. Obwohl im vergangenen Jahr an der Schule auch erste Unterkünfte für Mädchen gebaut wurden, konnten in diesem Jahr für Mädchen bislang leider noch keine konkreten neuen Ausbildungskurse im Bereich Hauswirtschaft geplant und angeboten werden. Die Schulleitung ist nicht nur bei den Ausbildungsplätzen für Holz- und Metallbearbeitung auf die dringende Anschaffung weiterer geeigneter Geräte und Maschinen angewiesen, sondern gerade auch zur Durchführung neuer Hauswirtschaftskurse müssen im Vorfeld erst eine genügende Anzahl dringend benötigter Haushaltutensilien wie z.B. Nähmaschinen zur Verfügung stehen. Unser Verein möchte im Rahmen der neu geplanten gemeinnützigen Projekte 2022/23 die VETA-Handwerksschule unterstützen. Wir wollen auch noch in diesem Jahr für weitere 10 bis 15 Massaimädchen (Schulabgängerinnen) aus Loiborsoit wieder entsprechende Ausbildungskurse an dieser Schule vermitteln. Daher werden wir versuchen, bei der Beschaffung von Nähmaschinen und anderen Geräten und Maschinen behilflich zu sein. Dies soll durch die Vermittlung entsprechende Kontakte und/oder der Lancierung entsprechender Spendenaufrufe geschehen. Die Schulleitung wird uns schon sehr bald eine Liste mit den benötigten Maschinen und Gerätschaften zukommen lassen. Zurzeit können wir die VETA-Handwerksschule bereits indirekt unterstützen, indem wir demnächst einen grossen Teil von Schulbänken (Holz-Metallkonstruktion) für diverse neu gebaute Klassenzimmer der laufenden Schulbauprojekte an dieser Ausbildungswerkstätte anfertigen lassen. Dies ermöglicht der Schulleitung einerseits gewisse und sehr willkommene Zusatzeinnahmen zur Beschaffung von „Übungsmaterial“ und andererseits bietet es den Auszubildenden eine sehr gute Möglichkeit um wichtige Praxiserfahrungen zu sammeln…
Support for VETA Craft School
Earlier this week, Lengai S. and Nengajiang (Jenipher R. Mollel) with Markus H. and Kurt B. from ENKAINA-E-RETOTO visited the VETA Craft School. This school is located in the southern municipality of Loiborsoit, approximately halfway between the village centers of Loiborsoit and Emboret. This school, which is supported by the Tanzanian state, offers training courses for bricklayers, carpenters and metalworkers. Although the first accommodations for girls were also built at the school last year, unfortunately no specific new training courses in housekeeping could be planned and offered for girls this year. The school management is not only dependent on the urgent purchase of further suitable equipment and machines for the training places for woodworking and metalworking, but also on a sufficient number of household utensils such as sewing machines in order to carry out new home economics courses. Our association would like to support the VETA trade school as part of the newly planned charitable projects 2022/23. We want to arrange appropriate training courses for another 10 to 15 Maasai girls (school leavers) from Loiborsoit at this school this year. Therefore we will try to help with the procurement of sewing machines and other equipment and machines. This should be done by arranging appropriate contacts and/or launching appropriate appeals for donations. The school management will send us a list of the machines and equipment needed very soon. We already indrectly support the VETA craft school by havin g a large number of school benches (wood-metal construction) for various newly built class rooms of the current school construction project being fabricated there at this training workshop. On the one hand, this enables the school management to generate certain and very welcome additional income for the procurement of „practice material“ and, on the other hand, it offers the trainees a very good opportunity to gain important practical experience…
Msaada kwa Shule ya Ufundi ya VETA
Mapema wiki hii, Lengai S. na Nengajiang (Jenipher R. Mollel) pamoja na Markus H. na Kurt B. kutoka ENKAINA-E-RETOTO walitembelea Shule ya Ufundi ya VETA. Shule hii iko katika manispaa ya kusini ya Loiborsoit, takriban nusu kati ya vituo vya kijiji vya Loiborsoit na Emboret. Shule hii ambayo inaungwa mkono na serikali ya Tanzania inatoa mafunzo kwa wafyatua matofali, maseremala na mafundi vyuma. Ingawa makao ya kwanza ya wasichana pia yalijengwa shuleni mwaka jana, kwa bahati mbaya hakuna kozi maalum za mafunzo ya utunzaji wa nyumba ambazo zinaweza kupangwa na kutolewa kwa wasichana mwaka huu. Uongozi wa shule hautegemei tu ununuzi wa haraka wa vifaa na mashine zinazofaa zaidi kwa ajili ya maeneo ya mafunzo ya ushonaji mbao na ushonaji chuma, bali pia idadi ya kutosha ya vyombo vya nyumbani kama vile cherehani ili kufanya kozi mpya za uchumi wa nyumbani. Chama chetu kingependa kusaidia shule ya biashara ya VETA kama sehemu ya miradi mipya ya hisani iliyopangwa 2022/23. Tunataka kupanga kozi zinazofaa za mafunzo kwa wasichana wengine 10 hadi 15 wa Kimasai (waliomaliza shule) kutoka Loiborsoit katika shule hii mwaka huu. Kwa hiyo tutajaribu kusaidia katika ununuzi wa cherehani na vifaa vingine na mashine. Hii inapaswa kufanywa kwa kupanga anwani zinazofaa na/au kuzindua rufaa zinazofaa za michango. Uongozi wa shule utatutumia orodha ya mashine na vifaa vinavyohitajika hivi karibuni. Tayari tunatoa msaada kwa shule ya ufundi ya VETA kwa kuwa na idadi kubwa ya madawati ya shule (ujenzi wa mbao) kwa ajili ya vyumba vya madarasa vipya vilivyojengwa vya mradi wa sasa wa ujenzi wa shule unaotengenezwa pale kwenye warsha hii ya mafunzo. Kwa upande mmoja, hii inawezesha usimamizi wa shule kuzalisha mapato fulani na ya kukaribisha sana ya ziada kwa ajili ya ununuzi wa „nyenzo za mazoezi“ na, kwa upande mwingine, inawapa wafunzwa fursa nzuri sana ya kupata uzoefu muhimu wa vitendo…
